Traveller from Isle of Man stayed in June,2009

I did feel that this hotel was only 4* because of the facilities the hotel holds. There are a couple of staff who were fantastic and helpful but others were not. The bar was not that great - no atmosphere at all ! - needs a bit of music, big screens etc. Also hotel appeared to be in a slightly run down area - bit worrying at night. Location is close to city though. The brasserie within the hotel had excellent food (worth a visit) but the service was not up to scratch.

Top Tip:
Shopping is fab in Glasgow, lots of great places to eat and drink. Hampden Park not far away for concerts (we actually walked back which took 2 hours, but it is only a 20 minute drive away).
