Traveller from Muir of Ord stayed in February,2009

We were staying at City Inn Feb 2009 as we went to the Snow Patrol concert at SSEC. Having travelled down from Inverness that morning we arrived at the Hotel to meet with family. They had just ordered and been served lunch, so likwise we ordered soup and sandwich combo. We waited 45 mins and twice reminded the waiter of our order. Eventually gave up, cancelled and headed into town.It was about 3:00pm so not busy. However they redeemed themelves by not charging my brother for their lunch. Other than that we were very impressed with the hotel and would stay again- only bring a packed lunch next time!
