The hotel was clean but a bit tired in places. The staff were very friendly and the room was good. The only negative point for us was the cost of the drinks, which were generally higher than hotels we have recently stayed at in London and Edinburgh. The restaurant food was very good. Ideal location for the SECC and just a 20 minute walk to the shops.
Top Tip
Good restaurant, decent bar although drinks are expensive. Service very good throughout.

If you are going to the SECC, it is a superb location as you do not have to go outside.
It is a bit noisy at night, but the view from the 16th floor is something to see. Especially looking up the river.
The extra facilities such as a pool were a bonus. They also have shops in the foyer. You can park your car overnight for £5, well worth it for Glasgow.
Top Tip
There are numerous restaurants, all within walking distance of the SECC,the Rotunda chinese restaurant is very good value and the food is good, but you will have to book early if you want a pre-concert/thearte time. Plenty of sightseeing within walking distance. The shops are a subway/ bus or walk away.

breakfast not worth the money it was of a supermarket quality although large choice food was very greasy mushrooms tastless having to make your own toast rubbish as either your toast gets cold if you make before choosing your meal or vice versa i would recomend this hotel apart from the food and the bar prices

Could do with tables and chairs outside when the weather is good. Ideal situation for SECC, ajoining walkway. 5 mins from centre of Glasgow.

Perfect for the purpose it was booked. The hotel is linked by corridor to the SECC thus making it perfect for events such as concerts etc. Food in the hotel is great and reasonably priced, likewise the drinks. Second time we've done this and will not hesitate again.

Good location if going to SECC.Staff indifferent, apart from one waitress on breakfast duty. Room clean, but furnishings and decoration very tired. Not what is expected for over £100 per night in Glasgow
